Night at Canyon Ranch

Long-exposure night photography has become a lot more difficult than it used to be: streetlights are a sickly ugly yellow color, and they’re everywhere. I’ve taken night shots in the middle of the wilderness which still came out with a jaundice-colored sky, reflected from the next town over.

Maybe now that LED and halogen lights are becoming cheap and bright enough, they’ll start replacing those ugly things and we can have a normal-colored nighttime again.
