It’s big. I haven’t invested in a massively wide-angle lens: what you’re looking at here is 24 different photos stitched together.

And it really is that blue. You climb up — okay, drive up — what seem to be perfectly normal alpine slopes, and then suddenly there’s a patch of sky on the ground in front of you.

Whoever discovered it first was probably so excited he fell in. Maybe he’s the one who brought the fish with him.
