My computer just got a whole lot better:

defaults write com.apple.Dock workspaces-auto-swoosh -bool NO
killall Dock

Beats me why they didn’t make it visible in the preferences, and it wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the release notes — but I’ll settle for a hidden commandline setting if it means I never have to experience this again.

I’m posting this here only so when I inevitably lose this setting by reinstalling something, I’ll be able to find it again.

[edited to add: if you’re wondering what the hell I’m talking about, this pair of commands stops Spaces from constantly switching you at random from one virtual desktop to another. Which is good.]
