River Walk, Great Barrington
The faking-an-ultrawide-angle-lens thing I keep doing, stitching together lots of separate photos taken at different angles from the same spot, is a bit of trickery I’ve really grown totally overdependent on. (About half of the photos I’m putting up on the site from this set are stitched panos.)
It does seem to work better, or at least more subtly, in natural environments — where you don’t have straight architectural lines to make the distortion obvious. (From the left to right side of this photo covers about a ninety degree turn in real life.)
