Soda Lake 360 degrees

Carrizo plains, California. This is the sort of thing I was looking for, and I only found it by accident. I sat here for an hour and didn’t see another person, not a single vehicle on the road — just some jackrabbits and two crows black against the ash and thousands of silent flying grasshopper the same color as the ground and a sky full of steady, motionless wind.
