Very Large Array

I was expecting — well, I was expecting what this photo implies; a tight grid of closely spaced dishes in neat rows. They move them around to focus at different distances, so sometimes I suppose they are all crowded together like that — but today they were scattered all over the plain. From a distance they looked like flowers. Freakish, dangerous flowers.
