Gasworks Park, Mossy

Gasworks park is, well, a park that used to be a gasworks. It’s on prime real estate with a panoramic view of the whole of Seattle; the kind of land any other city would’ve turned instantly into zillion-dollar condos, or at the very least pulled out the old rusting gasworks and replaced them with geometric and boring Public Art.

This was one of my favorite spots when I lived in Seattle: picnic dates, solitary sunsets, and a human chessgame Craig and I staged one summer night. I’m pleased that it still exists.
