Fish, detail

Gave up on this one. Hands are hard. And compositionally it’s a disaster.

I keep starting out thinking, ‘this is great, I don’t have to squeeze everything through an 8x10 printer,’ and ambitiously cut out huge swaths of canvas and start slapping paint around.

Then I get hung up on some stupid little detail like a thumb or a wobbly eyeball — but only after I’ve wasted a lot of paint.
