Here’s an ingredient: a fuel cell powered directly by the bloodstream. Okay, .0002 watts isn’t much power, but it’s a start.

I wonder if the potato clock counts as prior art? (If I’m doing the math right, this fuel cell is roughly equivalent to a ten-potato clock. Much easier to implant, and you wouldn’t have to keep changing the potatoes.)
