In my day, young man, I had a long stick by my desk and on winter days I’d have to go outside and knock the snow off the satellite before I could connect.

I love this. I’m at that overlap point between the absurd tail end of one technology and the not-quite-thereness of the new one. I can work with people anywhere on earth from my living room, but I still need a long stick.
