Coca-Cola is test-marketing a new beverage called Coca-Cola Blãk, which is in several ways a return to the company’s roots:

  • it’s attractively packaged in a miniature version of the traditional wasp-waisted bottle, and
  • it contains significant amounts of the traditional ingredient from which the name “Coca-Cola” derives. Or possibly just absurd amounts of caffeine. I can’t really tell. My brain is trying to climb through my ears and out of my skull, which makes it difficult to think about it. Also, it tastes like carbonated day-old coffee. The drink. And my brain, probably. Buy some today, it won’t be in stores long.
