Spotted

I saw a car on my way home today.

A pickup truck, actually. In yellow. One of those extra-tall shiny trucks, with the extended cab and the double tires and the reinforced bed that has never ever hauled a load of anything, nor ever will. The rear window was covered by one of those one-way murals you see sometimes, that from the outside look like the whole window is a big american flag or a landscape or whatever: this one depicted green-and-black nightvision views of a helicopter, and of a soldier holding some sort of oversized weapon. Underneath it was painted the slogan “He’s resting with Allah now.” I may be misremembering the exact wording, but something like that. The vanity license place read PITVIPER.

Other than that it was just like any other car on the highway.
