A convivial transaction
We did it! We sold our old house! I will not be spending this winter worrying that pipes are freezing over on the other side of Mt. Greylock!
The couple that bought it are eerily similar to the couple that was selling it. We spent most of the closing chatting about comic books and mathematical axioms. Most convivial transaction ever.
Also it turns out they've been reading my blog all along, which I had somehow forgotten that they would be able to do, so they know all the ice storm stories and the grumpy plow guy stories and the town government stories and they still bought the house anyway!
