Take daily

The instructions on Frank's pill bottles now say "take daily for life" instead of "until healed". And the vet is giving us the smaller bottles of pills because it's not likely he'd be able to make it through the full regular-sized bottle.

I don't know whether I'm going to feel guiltier for putting him down or for keeping him alive this long. How much pain is too much pain?

(That my own back is acting up today is not making this any easier to consider.)
