I came across the phrase "I did some research by thinking about what I really want to have happened" yesterday. I think I will be using this phrase frequently from now own

(The remainder of the original sentence was "and it turns out the incident was basically like that bit from Lady and the Tramp only with a guy eating a dinosaur skull instead of spaghetti" which is just as good but perhaps not quite as broadly applicable)
