Hyperreality

You know how sometimes when you've been sick for a while and are finally starting to come out of it the air looks all crispy and too bright and your depth perception and field of view go all wide-angle lens on you and everything looks hyper-real but imaginary at the same time, as if the world had turned into an exceptionally high-resolution simulation of itself?

You know that feeling? Or is this just me?
